FUN BA KAMO? Join the Amazing Pinoy Fun Run happening on April 27, 2013. Registration is still on-going. Visit CRIS Sports in Glorietta, SM City North, SM Sucat, MOA, Robinson's Place Ermita, Festival Mall, SM Fairview, SM Manila, and SM Megamall.  Fitness & Athletics at BGC. 

Registration Fees: Php600 for 2km, Php650 for 5km   and  Php800 for 10km.

Amazing Pinoy Fun Run

Are you looking for a "FUN" in fun runs this summer? Amazing Pinoy Fun Run is what you are looking for.  

Amazing Pinoy is a fun run with a twist. How much do you missed your childhood plays? 

Amazing Pinoy Run revs up the ante of how fun runs should be. Runners of all capabilities will certainly find the right challenge and excitement for them as the race is designed to suit a broad spectrum of runners, from newbies to the competitive. Picture a fun run with the challenges of the Amazing Race and a festive atmosphere of fun races and you get Amazing Pinoy Run! Event distances are 2K, 5K, and 10K.  The race is a non-officially timed but there's a timer. 

Side trip to Apo Island

When in Dumaguete City, don't fail to do a side trip to Apo Island.  How to get there?  From Dumaguete, go to Ceres Bus Line and take the bus going to Bayawan.  Fare cost is 25Php for ordinary bus and 30Php for aircon bus.  The travel time is 45 mins. Let the driver or conductor know that you get off at Malatapay Market. Walk until you reach the coast line.  You will see the coast guard station and boat station. Medium boat cost 2,000Php that good for 4 persons and big boat cost 3,000Php for 8 persons.  This is a wet ride so better wear your diving and snorkeling outfit before heading to the island. Boat ride will takes you another 45 mins.  Upon reaching Apo Island, register at Maritime Protection Office. General Admission is 100Php.

Dumaguete City: City of Learning and Big Bikes

This was my first visit to Dumaguete City.  Dumaguete City is the capital of Negros Oriental. It has earned a distinction of "City of Learning" in the South. With its four universities and other colleges where students from provinces come together to enroll for college education. 

The city attracts many foreign retirees for its easy access to Cebu, Bohol, and Panay Island to name a few provinces in Visaya that offers beautiful beaches and dive sites.
