In 2009, the group tied up with 57-75 Movement, a private sector led initiative to reverse the public education crisis in the Philippines. The Iamninoy runners are hoping to raise funds to help children to stay in school, enhance literacy and to improve test performances.

The first official iamninoy run was held on August, 2009
